Review
"The least has to be raised to the greatest, the ordinary has to be raised to the extraordinary, the earth has to be made heaven. They have to be bridged, no gap should be left. Zen says both the ordinary and the extraordinary, both the earth and heaven are real, but they are not two. Bridge them-so tea becomes prayer, so the most profane thing becomes the most sacred. It is a symbol." --Osho

Stunning Lucidity
By Demitri Pevzner
Osho (Bagwan Shree Rajneesh)has a unique way to write with a stunning lucidity that speaks directly to your personal experience. This book is one such example of his way with words and metaphors. The writing discusses the analogy of tea ceremony in light of life experience, as a means to deepening spiritual attainment and bring a sense of clarity to your actions.
He brings up the parables of Zen masters Nansen and Joshu and Nan-In among others. He mentions a simple meditation to bring awareness to the moment, and lists several teas along with their benifits.
In this short book, he manages to convey a lot, not in the sense of quantity, but quality. I am amazed that despite his contrivercial background and outright criminal actions, his teachings are as deep and profound as I found them to be. Definitely worth a read, if you are looking for a bit of profound insight in your daily life.

By poopsiegigglebuns book seller
When I first started to look at this "book" when I was on-line, I thought that it was interesting, but it wasn't until I saw it in the flesh that I realized that it is a BOXED SET book, including two lovely tea cups and a tea ceremony mat!!
That makes it so much cooler than just a book. Nice ROMANTIC gift to share with someone you love.

You'll never see tea the same
By Sean Sheikh
Osho tries hard to differentiate himself from dogma, classification, and even Zen. His book, 'The art of tea' is no different. Osho talks highly of tea, and one can't help seeing tea in an almost divine light after reading the book. To Osho, tea is religion, zen, and life itself. A cup of tea is not only great before meditation (to stay awake) but is a meditation in itself.
The book is pocket sized and can be read in a matter of hours. The prose is simple and clean, with the reader wanting more of Oshos inexplainable teaching. Not to worry, Osho has 600 books and thousands of audio discourses.
