Excellent ESL Resource

I am teaching my partner ESL and we both loved this book and the cd. Though it is written in very basic English, we both found the story interesting. I thought it was going to be very patronizing, but it wasn't at all. This was his first time reading a book in English and at the end felt like he accomplished something. Can't wait to read some more from this same series.
